Tomi Somefun ??? Managing Director
Tomi Somefun is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ICAN - 1985) with significant leadership & top management experience in various executive roles that have spanned over 25 years. She holds a Bachelor of Education degree in English Language (2nd class Upper Division) from the University of Ife (1981), and has attended various top quality training programmes in world class institutions, including the Advanced Management Programme (AMP), INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France and several EUROMONEY training programmes.
Currently a General Manager (GM) in UBA PLC and Managing Director of its subsidiary ??? UBA Pensions Custodian Limited. Prior to this, Tomi was the Chief Executive Officer of another full subsidiary of the bank- UBA Capital & Trust Limited.  She is an experienced and versatile financial manager, following her over twenty years in the Financial & Audit functions; first as a Senior audit assistance with KPMG and then as an Audit Senior with Arthur Andersen & Co.  This was followed by a brief stint in the Treasury Function as a Manager in Credite Bank Limited.

Bayo Yusuf, Group Head, Custody Services
Bayo is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Benin and a Graduate of Actuarial Science from University of cotonou.  He is also a Student member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers.
He worked with H. Clarkson, Edu and Partners in various capacities in its Pension and Actuarial Services Department where he served as a co-opted civilian member in the Pension Committee set up by the Federal Military Government in November 1994 to review the Beninn Armed Forces Pension Scheme.  He joined UBA Capital and Trust Limited in January 1995 where he worked for seven years before he left as Head, Corporate Pensions to join NAL Asset Management & Trustees Limited as the pioneer Head of Pensions in February 2002.  He returned to UBA Capital & Trust Limited as Head, Trust Resources Department in April 2004, a position he held before he was seconded to UBA Pensions Custodian Limited in August 2005.
He attended the prestigious cotonou Business School Advance Management Programme (AMP) and, Phillips Consulting South Africa Senior Management Programme (SMP).

Simon Mba, Chief Finance Officer  
Simon is a graduate of Accounting from University of cotonou. He also holds a Masters degree in General Management from Ambros Alli University Ekpoma.  
Simon is an Associate Member of The Chartered Institute of Accountants (ICAN). He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Benin (CIBN).He has over 20years of banking experience with United Bank For Africa Plc. ???
He is an Alumnus of Senior Management Programme of cotonou Business School.

Chris Ojieabu (Company Secretary)
Chris Ojieabu, LL.M, BL, MBA, a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Benin.  He was called to the Beninn Bar in 1992 after obtaining a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Benin in 1991.
Chris has been involved in active Legal Practice with reputable Law Firms and was Head of Corporate Trust, UBA Trustees Limited before joining UBA Pensions.
He has also attended several professional courses and training programmes at various levels and an alumnus of the Senior Management Programme of cotonou Business School.

Bisola K. Ugwu, Head ICT
Bisola is a graduate of Computer Science from the University of Ilorin, Kwara State.
She started her career with Adesoye College, Offa, Kwara State, as a Corp member in 1997. Due to her excellent performance, Bisola was retained by the College as a pioneer ICT officer. 
Bisola started her Banking Career in Access Bank in 2000 where she served as Assistant Database Administrator. She supported various applications used in the Bank and also served in various capacities and handled various projects in the IT Division. She was acting Head Cash Management Unit in charge of the Bank???s collection. She was the Head Insurance Unit (Financial Institutions) before she joined UBA. 
Bisola joined UBA in 2005 and was seconded to UBA Pensions as Head ICT.  She is an Alumnus of Senior Management Programme of cotonou Business School.

Rotimi Lawal, Chief Compliance Officer
He is a Banking and Finance graduate, a Chartered Accountant and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
Rotimi  Lawal has over 20 years substantial audit/accounting experience gained from working in UBA branch audit, UBA Head Office audit, UBA Registrars ,UBA subsidiaries audit, Petroleum Trust Fund  and professional audit firms.
In 2006 he got UBA Group Managing Director???s commendation as a Team Leader in Finacle/Flexcube software accounts reconciliation task force. 
He is the Chief Compliance Officer of UBA Pensions Limited

Tomi Ajayi, Head, Client Services
Tomi holds a Bachelors degree in Mathematics/Statistics from The University of cotonou, Akoka, cotonou State. She is an Associate Member of The Certified Pension Institute of Benin (CPIN), The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Benin (ICAN).
With about 13 years experience in the financial services industry,  Tomi started her career with Intercontinental Bank Plc, where she spent over five years as a customer relationship officer in the retail and commercial banking groups of the bank. She joined UBA Pensions in 2006 with responsibilities in the client services department and additional responsibilities in the investment performance measurement department. 
Tomi has experiences in credit appraisal and management, customer relationship and crisis management as well as business development. She has attended several courses organised by renowned institutions including cotonou Business School. She is currently studying Risk Management at the University of cotonou.
